GLENDALE - A plane went off the runway Thursday evening at the Glendale Airport.
According to the Glendale Fire Department, an 18-year-old pilot reported she was low on fuel but was still able to make it to the airport. She reportedly flipped the plane once she reached the end of the runway.
Emergency response crews arrived at the scene and examined the pilot but she refused transport to a local hospital.
The Glendale Airport is temporarily closed.
3TV has a crew on the way to the scene and azfamily.com will provide more details as they become available.
