Glendale police detectives are asking for help in identifying a man who robbed a bank in north Glendale over the weekend.This suspect may also be responsible for robberies in other cities.
Just before 2 p.m. Sunday (11/9), a suspect approached a teller at the Chase Bank, located inside the Fry's store at 59th Avenue and the Loop 101.He stated that he had a gun and threatened to shoot both female tellers at the bank.He demanded and obtained an undisclosed amount of money.The suspect fled on foot.No weapon or vehicle was seen.
The suspect is described as a white male in his thirties, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 175 pounds, wearing a long sleeved black and gray shirt, a red bandana on his head, sunglasses, black jeans and boots.He had whisker stubble and was carrying a blue CD case.Anyone with information is asked to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000.
