Serious accident leaves 4 injured in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY -- Four people are seriously injured after a three vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in Bullhead

The Bullhead City Fire Department says an over-sized truck hit the rear of a Chevy Cavalier Convertible. The Cavalier then struck the rear of a full size Sport Utility Vehicle.

The occupants of the truck and the SUV were not injured.

The four riding in the Cavalier were listed in critical condition Thursday night. Two adults and two children had to be removed from the wreckage using hydraulic power tools.

The children were secured in child booster seats. All four occupants were transported to the Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City.

The cause of the collision is under investigation by the Bullhead City Police Department.
