TEMPE -- Tempe police officers arrested a Chandler man after he sold methamphetamine six times in less than two months to undercover officers.
Jaime Araujo-Aboytes, 26, was taken into custody during a traffic stop in the area of McQueen and Knox roads on May 1. Detectives found methamphetamine in his vehicle at the time of his arrest.
Araujo-Aboytes admitted to detectives that he sold the meth because he was out of work and it was hard to find a job.
The investigation revealed that Araujo-Aboytes sold varying quantities of meth to undercover detectives in Tempe and Chandler.
According to police, paraphernalia for the sale and use of methamphetamine was found in his home.
Araujo-Aboytes was arrested on six counts of sale of dangerous drugs and one count of possession of dangerous drugs.
