PHOENIX - A woman was sexually assaulted after being driven to a remote area by three men.

Police in Tempe say the three suspects approached the woman on Wednesday evening after the victim missed her bus near McClintock Dr. near Southern. The men offered to give the woman a ride to the bus stop and she got into the vehicle, described as white cargo-type van with two rear doors.

Police say the men then drove for about 30 to 45 minutes to an unknown location in the desert where the victim was sexually assaulted in the back of the van.

The suspects then forced the woman out of the van and she somehow made her way back home where she contacted police.

The suspects are described only as three white males.
