Two wounded in unrelated overnight shootings in PhoenixPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Police are investigating two overnight shootings in the Valley that left two men seriously wounded.
The first happened outside a strip club.
It happened just before 2 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of Baby Dolls at 35th and Grand avenues.
Police said a man who had been shot at least three times was found on the ground.
The man was rushed to the hospital. His condition was not known.
The shooter is described as black man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
According to police, that suspect left the scene of the shooting in a silver SUV or sedan.
Investigators are trying to figure out what led up to the shooting.
The second incident happened at an apartment complex on 26th Avenue just south of Camelback Road.
The victim apparently was visiting somebody there.
According to police, the man got into a fight outside one of the units. That's when he was shot in the back.
The man was taken to the hospital.
Police have not released any suspect description.
Investigators do not believe the shootings were related.
