Suspected bank robber forces closure of Loop 101/202 interchange

Scottsdale police investigated a bank robbery and possible explosive left at a Wells Fargo early Monday afternoon.

Scottsdale police along with the Department of Public Safety took the suspect, Daniel Logue, 54, into cutody on the Loop 202 on-ramp.
Logue left the bag on the counter during the robbery after stating it had an explosive inside.
Logue then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
After Logue's vehicle was located on the southbound Loop 101, the Department of Public Safety shut down the right lane of the highway as well as the on-ramp to the Loop 202 while bomb sniffing dogs investigated the car.
