UPDATE: Chandler police find sex offender who failed to register

UPDATE -- FRIDAY:

CHANDLER -- Acting on a tip through Silent witness, Chandler police arrested Benjamin Saiz Friday afternoon in the 1200 block of West Laredo Street.

Benjamin was booked into the Maricopa County Jail for his warrant as well as for failure to register as a sex offender.

CHANDLER - The following is a press release from the Chandler Police Department:

The Chandler Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Benjamin P. Saiz.Benjamin is a level III sex offender who has failed to register his current address as required.Benjamin's last known location was in the 600 Block of East Commonwealth.

There is an active arrest warrant for a parole violation and the Chandler Police Department has filed charges against him for failing to register as a Sex Offender.

Benjamin is classified as a sex offender as a result of a child molestation conviction.

Benjamin is a twenty-six year old Hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 323 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.He is known to keep his head shaved and has a three-inch scar on his upper right arm.

Additionally he has several tattoos, the name "Isaiah" tattooed on his back, "X3" tattooed on his left hand, "Nichole" tattooed on his right arm and "Saiz" tattooed on his right knee. He has connections to the Yuma Area.Attached is a photograph of Benjamin.
