Business owner helps police nab burglary suspectsPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX - Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday night a business owner's alert actions help police catch burglary suspects.
According to Phoenix police the owner of La Bodega Furniture store observed a burglary in progress at his store and called police.
Police located a vehicle filled with furniture stolen from La Bodega. Officers also stopped a second vehicle leaving the scene.
The three suspects entered the business by cutting a hole in the roof.
Leonel Martinez, 29, Luis Garcia Villegas, 28, and a 17-year-old hispanic male were booked on burglary and theft of means of transportation.
In addition to stealing the furniture, they also stole a car in the parking lot of the furniture store.
