At least 2 families displaced due to fire

PHOENIX - At least two families are looking for a place to live after a fire tore through their apartments.

A huge fire burned through their complex near 59th Avenue and McDowell. A mother of two had just finished washing her hair when she saw the flames.

Carrie Adams tells 3TV, "There were flames on the side of the refrigerator by the stove and the blinds were just melting down. If I hadn't come when I did, we'd all be dead if I hadn't come home when I did."

The family lost everything. They had just moved to the Valley from California five months ago.

Unbelievably that same family was burned out of their home two years ago. Investigators do not know how this fire started. Nobody was hurt.
