Mountain rescue for ASU students in Papago Park

PHOENIX - A mountain rescue is underway at Papago Park in Phoenix.

The hikers may have taken a wrong turn.

They are both fine, and have just came down from the mountain.

Their rescue was caught on tape by 3TV's cameras.

A police helicopter had the mountain lit up for at least an hour, as rescue crews worked to help the hikers down.

Both are ASU students who say they have been hiking every week.

One hiker says they went too high up the mountain, and then could not get down.

Both hikers have been rescued.

The two say they will be back, but next time they will have much better equipment.
