Arizona's SAT scores drop

Posted: Updated:

PHOENIX -- SAT scores are at their lowest levels in nearly a decade.

For the second year in a row, scores have slumped among graduating high school students in Arizona.

According to the college board, the low average is because a broader array of students are now taking the test.

In Arizona, overall scores in reading, writing and math are down from last year, but they are still above the national average.
