TUCSON - Eight staff members have been suspended from a Tucson hospital and four of them, including the employee accused with taking 'inappropriate' photos of a patient, have been fired.
They are accused of taking potentially inappropriate photos of a patient. They work at University Medical Center. Four nurses and four patient-care technicians could all lose their jobs depending on the outcome of this investigation.
Hospital policy only allows pictures to be taken with the patient or patient's family's permission. The patient's family and the Tucson Police Department have been notified of the investigation.
Police are not commenting on the type of pictures taken.
