GOODYEAR, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - Build it and they will come. That's what's happened on a quiet corner on the way to Phoenix International Raceway.

The military tribute wall is back open, and bigger and better than ever.

The wall's creator, Jay Humphrey, threw a big bash Sunday, reopening what he calls Gratitude Corner in Goodyear, just in time for the NASCAR races this week.

Last year he decided to create the wall and asked folks from all over the Valley to sign it in honor of the veterans they know.

Since then, that wall is almost filled up and there is a new one to sign.

"We're helping people that want to feel better and want to know they're doing something, they're making a difference, we're giving other people an opportunity to make a difference and we all can make a difference," Humphrey said. "As long as we all make a little difference, we win."

Humphrey said he has had interest from all over the country to create similar Gratitude Corners for veterans and he is in the process of helping his simple but powerful movement grow.

The tribute wall is located at 143rd Avenue and Indian Springs Road. For more information visit http://upbytheirbootstraps.org/tribute-wall.
