Garden Guy explores lighting alternatives at Home and Garden Show

Garden Guy Dave Owens visited the Maricopa Country Home and Garden Show this morning and found some lighting alternative that help save energy and time.

From wireless Bluetooth-controlled LED technology to control systems that detect when people leave and enter a room, vendors at the show have plenty of innovative lighting options to offer.

The Maricopa Country Home and Garden Show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale will run today, March 6 and Saturday March 7 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sunday March 8 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 3 through 12, and admission is free for all seniors 60 and older today from 10 a.m. until noon.

Visitors can get one free admission ticket by bringing at least two cans of new dog or cat food to donate.
