PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police say six men have been arrested as part of a child prostitution investigation called Operation Blue Wave.

Phoenix police said they posted advertisements depicting girls in the escort section of Backpage.com.

Eric Radvan, 27, responded to one of the advertisements and began text messaging an undercover detective.

According to police, Radvan was told the girl was 16 years old, and he said he wanted to meet her for sex. He drove to the location on Black Canyon Freeway in Phoenix on Wednesday night and was taken into custody.

Frederick Gary Cleeves, 63, was also arrested Wednesday night on Black Canyon Freeway as he was attempting to meet a 16-year-old girl for sex.

Paul Daniel Wagner, 34, went to a hotel at 17222 N. Black Canyon Highway with plans to give a 16-year-old girl $20 and a pack of cigarettes in exchange for sex. He was quickly arrested by undercover cops.

Luis Carlos Aniles-Molinar, 28, was arrested Wednesday night at the Motel 6 on 52nd Avenue in Phoenix where he was planning to pay a 16-year-old girl $60 for sex.

Lucio Colorado Gloria, 27, sought out two girls, ages 16 and 19, online and offered $35 and cigarettes for sex acts and when he arrived at the meeting place, he was arrested by undercover cops.

Luciano Duran Arreola, 24, came to the hotel, where he planned to meet a 16-year-old, with $60 cash, cigarettes and condoms. He stated he wanted "regular sex only" and was arrested, police said.
