SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

The Scottsdale restaurant co-owners who provoked ridicule after appearing on chef Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares two years ago may be in more hot water.

Witnesses said Salomon "Samy" Bouzaglo, who operates Amy's Baking Company with wife Amanda "Amy" Bouzaglo, was waving a knife and yelling as he chased a drunken man out of their business, according to a police report.

Scottsdale police Officer David Pubins said authorities were called to the restaurant Saturday at about 4:30 p.m. to investigate a disturbance.

By the time officers arrived, the man was gone.

Police said they obtained video from witnesses and a video recorded by Amy Bouzaglo.

Witnesses said a man who was possibly drunk came into ABC's Bistro with two other men. He complained about the service and a verbal fight began with Samy Bouzaglo. Police said the owners yelled obscenities and follow the man as he was leaving with his friends.

Witnesses said Samy Bouzaglo went back into the restaurant and came out waving a knife and yelling "You XXXX!" at the man. Witnesses told police Amy Bouzaglo was also verbally abusive before escorting her husband back inside.

Police said because the man was gone before police arrived and they didn't know his identity, they were unable to check if he wanted to press charges.

All witnesses said they did not want to press charges for disorderly conduct so no arrests were made, police said.

In a May 2013 episode of Kitchen Nightmares, the Bouzaglos got angry with Ramsay's criticisms and Ramsay left before any makeover took place, a first in the program's history.

In the episode, the couple was also seen yelling at unhappy customers and taking employees' tips.

Their actions produced an extreme public backlash and people took to social media where the owners engaged them in more heated exchanges.
