TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

 A 62-year-old woman in Catalina State Park near Romero Pools was rescued by a helicopter on Saturday afternoon.

According to Pima County Sheriff's Department, the woman was hiking with her family when she lost consciousness and hit her head. Emergency response crews received a call at 2:40 p.m. and responded to the scene at 3:30 p.m. After being airlifted out of the park, she was set down near the park entrance and taken to a local hospital.
