Law enforcement officials in Ferguson, Missouri arrested a Huntsville man during the overnight protests as unrest continues to unfold in the city.
Officers arrested more than 50 other people. An arrest report shows a man named Robert McCoy from Huntsville among those taken into custody.?
McCoy was charged with refusal to disperse, a misdemeanor. He has been released pending application of warrants, according to Brian Shellman, Press Release Officer for St. Louis County, Missouri.
According to attorney Michael Nack, when a person is released "pending application of warrants," law enforcement will "provide the prosecutor's office with the information they have, and the prosecutor decides whether or not to bring charges."
