Las Vegas Metro police are still looking for a mixed martial-arts fighter accused of beating his ex-girlfriend, adult entertainer Christy Mack.

Detectives aren't the only ones looking for War Machine, who was previously known as Jonathan Koppenhaver. Reality television star Duane Chapman, known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, said he is now hunting for War Machine.

FOX5 was set to speak to Chapman on the phone on Wednesday, but he canceled at the last minute saying he received a tip about War Machine's whereabouts.

However, we spoke with Chapman's wife and partner, Beth Chapman. She said she is 100 percent sure the search will be over soon.

"There's quite a bit going on - a lot of leads coming in, a lot of action going on in the case right now," Beth Chapman said.

Beth Chapman said she and her husband have people in multiple states searching for War Machine and that tip calls are pouring in.

"People who know him well, people who have known him throughout the years, people who used to see him on a day-to-day basis are calling and giving info on what kind of car he's driving, what friends he's hanging out with, who saw him last," Beth Chapman said.

Beth Chapman said the search for the MMA fighter is a quest for justice for Mack. Mack earlier this week tweeted photos of herself in a hospital bed. Her eyes were bruised, she was missing teeth and she said she had 18 broken bones.

Mack told police that War Machine broke into her Las Vegas home on Friday, beat her friend and then attacked her.

"Her life is in jeopardy every minute he stays at large. We have the ability to lend a hand, use our celebrity to have people give us leads, give us info they wouldn't otherwise give to police," Beth Chapman said.

Mack's friend and fellow adult entertainer, Kendall Karson, has launched a fundraising campaign to pay for her medical bills. The campaign has so far raised just over $40,000.

Mack's friends have put up a $10,000 reward for War Machine's capture, which was matched by the cast of Pawn Stars.
