PRESCOTT, AZ (CBS5) -

A vehicle tied to a Las Vegas carjacking was discovered partially on fire in Yavapai County on Tuesday morning, sheriff's authorities said.

A passing motorist stopped to render aid in an area near Interstate 40 at Cross Mountain and described the suspects as a man and woman, possibly Arabic, Yavapai County Sheriff's Office spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn said.

An Arizona Department of Public Safety officer extinguished the fire on the front passenger seat.

YCSO released surveillance photos of the suspects in hopes someone will recognize them and provide leads.

The woman is described as apparently pregnant, wearing a black and white horizontal stripe dress. The man last seen wearing black shorts and a green T-shirt.

People who may have been in that area are asked to call YCSO at 928-771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
