BULLHEAD CITY, AZ (CBS5) -
Mohave County sheriff's deputies are looking for a newer model Jeep and its driver believed involved in a hit-and-run crash behind a convenience store July 29.
An employee of the convenience store at 5480 S. State Route 95 in Bullhead City was taking out trash through the back of the store about 9:10 p.m. when she was run over by a vehicle, Trish Carter of the sheriff's office said.
The 48-year-old woman was taken to Valley View Medical Center and later to a hospital in Las Vegas. Her condition was not revealed.
A surveillance camera captured pictures of a dark color, newer model Jeep Cherokee-style SUV with luggage racks on top of the roof and dark windows driven by a man, Carter said.
Silent Witness is offering a reward up to $2,000, an anonymous donor is offering a reward up to $2,000, and the victim's family is offering a reward for $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run driver.
