A dog team joined the search on Tuesday for a Glendale man reported missing on a hike along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park.
Marc Buckhout, 36, was reported missing by a member of his family on Saturday evening just west of Grandview Point in the vicinity of Highway 64.
A technical rescue team was challenged by hazardous terrain over the rim of the canyon, park officials said.
Family members said Buckhout was last seen at 4:30 p.m. hiking along the South Rim west of Grandview Point in the vicinity of Highway 64.
Buckhout is described as 5'9'' tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown hair.
