PHOENIX (CBS5) -

With the help of surveillance video and two witnesses, police have arrested two men they believe have been involved in at least 20 robberies in the Phoenix area.

On Oct. 21, 2013, Joshua Ponder, wielding a gun, and a known accomplice demanded all of the "Oxy" from the Civic Center Pharmacy at 7881 E. Osborn Rd., according to police.

Ponder ordered three people in the lobby to move into the back room and the suspects fled with numerous bottles of prescription drugs.

They were caught on surveillance camera and two witnesses identified Ponder in a police lineup.

Police said Ponder was shown photos of himself committing the crime, but he denied it was him and invoked his right to an attorney.

Police believe the October robbery was part of at least 20 robberies in the Valley.
