A 70-acre wildfire about 40 miles southwest of St. George, UT, is 95 percent contained, fire officials said.
The Tweeds Fire started Sunday at 5 p.m. on land under the jurisdiction of the BLM Arizona Strip District/Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument.
The fire was being fought in the air and on the ground.
Rachel Tueller, spokeswoman for the Arizona Strip District, said lightning sparked the fire.
Cheatgrass, mixed brush, pinyon and juniper trees are fuels feeding the fire.
