A Tucson woman who pleaded guilty to defrauding a World War II veteran out of more than $2 million has been sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison.

Pima County prosecutors say 47-year-old Donna Iman also was ordered by a judge Monday to pay full restitution.

Iman pleaded guilty to fraudulent schemes and artifices last week.

She was accused of taking advantage of 93-year-old Thomas Gerbing between 2010 and 2012.

Prosecutors say Gerbing met Iman at his church and told him she needed help paying medical expenses.

Gerbing allegedly deposited money into Iman's bank account. But police say there's no evidence that she had any medical treatments or procedures other than cosmetic surgery.

Iman also allegedly used Gerbing's money to buy cars for her children and furniture for herself.
