A delivery truck and a truck hauling hay collided on Interstate 40 near the Arizona-California state line, tying up traffic Friday afternoon, authorities said.
DPS spokesman Carrick Cook said a FedEx truck rear ended a hay truck on I-40, 15 miles east of the California border, blocking eastbound lanes of traffic, as of about 2 p.m. Friday.
By about 3:30 p.m., the lanes were partially reopened.
Cook said there are reports of injuries, but the extent is unknown at this time.
Westbound lanes of I-40 remain open.
