Cardinals to deliver "Baskets of Hope" to Phoenix Children's Hospital

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Arizona Cardinals linebacker Lorenzo Alexander and long snapper Mike Leach will join former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner, Cardinals Cheerleaders and Big Red to deliver 200 gift baskets to children at Phoenix Children's Hospital (1919 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix) tomorrow as part of the "Basket of Hope" program.

"Basket of Hope" delivers thousands of baskets to 20 hospitals around the country each year. The baskets are given to the children and contain age appropriate toys, games, crafts, movies, and gift certificates.

The mission of the "Basket of Hope" organization is to give hope to newly diagnosed children and their families affected by cancer or other serious illnesses, primarily by the delivery of a Basket of Hope filled with inspirational materials to nourish them mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
