Two men have been arrested on Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation for failing to register as sex offenders.
Paul James Lopez, 42, was arrested Thursday and Lucas Antone, 50, was taken into custody on Friday for failing to register on the sex offender registry, according to the U.S. Marshals Office.
Lopez was convicted in July 2011 of child molestation and has a lengthy criminal history, including animal cruelty, drug possession and interfering with judicial proceedings.
Antone was convicted in tribal court for sexual conduct with a minor.
The U.S. Marshals Office said it was part of two-day compliance checks with tribal, local, state and federal agencies.
