NEW YORK (AP) -

Arizona Diamondbacks minor league pitcher Argeny Hiciano has been suspended 50 games for a drug violation.  The commissioner's office announced the penalty under the minor league drug program Friday.

Hiciano is on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Diamondbacks. The right-hander's ban for testing positive for metabolites of Boldenone will begin at the start of the league's season.
