At least three children and two adults were taken to the hospital with injuries suffered in a two-vehicle car crash in Mesa on Wednesday afternoon, fire crews said.
The children are between 5 and 10 years old. They are all expected to be OK.
First responders said one of the children, an 8-year-old girl, was ejected from one of the vehicles.
The vehicles collided a little after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Brown and Center.
Fire officials said it appeared two of the youngsters were not in seat restraints.
The Mesa Police Department is investigating the accident.
