PHOENIX (CBS5) -

The D'backs had a one run lead on the Washington Nationals and turned it over to closer Addison Reed in the 9th.

Danny Espinoza homered and Kevin Frandsen both homered off Reed and the D'backs dropped to 3-16 at Chase Field this season.

The day started with optimism.  Arizona returned to Chase Field after 11 days away.  The team appeared to have found its stride, winning 3 straight series after starting the season 4-14.

Josh Collementer was in line for the win after giving up 4 earned runs in 5 innings, thanks to an A.J. Pollock home run.  The D'backs fall to 15-26 on the season.
