Representatives from the Arizona Cardinals Football Club and Wells Fargo will take part in check presentations at Cesar Chavez High School and Cesar Chavez Community School as part of the "Passing Touchdowns for Schools" program on Tuesday, May 6.
The group from the Cardinals and Wells Fargo will present the checks at Cesar Chavez High School (3921 W. Baseline Road, Laveen) from 2:00-2:30 p.m. and at Cesar Chavez Community School (4001 S. Third Street, Phoenix) from 3:00-3:30 p.m.
In 2013, the Cardinals and Wells Fargo teamed up for the 10th consecutive season of the "Passing Touchdowns for Schools" program. Wells Fargo donated $500 for each passing touchdown the Cardinals had last year (including preseason), helping to raise $14,500 for 13 Valley schools.
Since the program began in 2004, "Passing Touchdowns for Schools" has raised over $130,000 for 136 Valley schools.
