The Arizona Rattlers will celebrate the Valley's first responders when they host the Pittsburgh Power on Saturday, April 19 at US Airways Center. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m.

Policemen, firefighters and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel will be able to receive 25% off their ticket purchase, up to four tickets, when first responder identification is presented at the US Airways Center box office. Tickets are available now through game day.

The Rattlers will highlight first responders throughout the night, starting with Councilman Daniel Valenzuela, a Glendale firefighter, doing the coin toss alongside Rattlers alum and current Phoenix firefighter, Mark Tucker, and serving as honorary co-captains. "The Star-Spangled Banner" will be performed by Cynthia Hill, the wife of Scottsdale police officer, Jim Hill who is also president of the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association (POSA). The police officers will look to defend their title during halftime's Second Annual Police vs. Firefighter Olympics, a CrossFit challenge put on by CrossFit Incendia. Both teams feature men and women from police and fire stations all over the Valley. Vintage police cars will be on display on the US Airways Center plaza prior to the game, provided by the Department of Public Safety. POSA will also be on hand with their K-9 mascot.

Fans are encouraged to donate toiletries or non-perishable food items for the season-long community campaign with St. Vincent de Paul. Donations will be accepted in the US Airways Center pavilion when doors open at 4 p.m.

After the game, fans are invited to come down on the field to meet players, coaches and the AZ Sidewinders dance team as they sign autographs.

Saturday's game will be televised locally on Cox 7 Arizona or fans can listen live to the radio broadcast on KFYI 1230 AM. Single game tickets are still available for purchase by visiting or at the US Airways Center box office.
