PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police identified a woman who was critically injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a city bus Wednesday evening as 33-year-old Anna Marie Wasbotten.

Something happened to the vehicle she was driving and it hit the Valley Metro bus, officers said. Her Thunderbird was cut in half and part of it struck another car, according to police.

Three people on the bus suffered minor injuries in the crash at Peoria Avenue and Cave Creek Road.

Police originally indicated one person was dead after the accident happened about 5:30 p.m. but updated their information a while later.

Northbound and southbound traffic was restricted at the crash site.

No other information was immediately available.
