One firefighter was taken to the hospital after fighting a two-alarm structure fire in Coventry on Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported at a two-family house at 88 Prospect St. around 1:15 p.m.
Firefighters were able to knock down the fire in about 45 minutes.
Officials said there are no fire hydrants nearby, so they had to get water from a local pond. There is a tanker truck of pond water at the fire scene.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
An unidentified firefighter was taken to a hospital for minor smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
