The public was being asked to take a look at surveillance photos of a bank robbery suspect in Seymour.
Police hope someone can identity the man who hit the First Niagara Bank in the Seymour Shopping Plaza Friday afternoon.
They said it happened around 4 p.m. The suspect entered the building and passed a teller a hand-written note demanding money.
The suspect fled toward First Street with an unknown amount of cash.
Employees and an alarm system reported at the same time that the bank had been robbed.
Through surveillance video and eyewitness accounts, police said they were able to obtain a description of the suspect.
They described him as approximately 5'5" tall, wearing blue jeans, a gray and blue jacket with some kind of emblem on the left side, a green Boston Red Sox hat and eyeglasses.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Seymour Police Department at 203-881-7624 or 203-881-7638.
