Fremont community holds vigil for three men killed in bar shooting

FREMONT, OH (Toledo News Now) -

With heavy hearts andtears, the Fremont community came together Monday night for a vigil to rememberthe three men who lost their lives outside of Last Call Saloon in a shooting Sundaymorning.

"They were reallygood men," said Diamon Garcia, a friend of the victims.  "They didn't deserve to go this way.  Their life was cut too short."

Off-duty police officer AndyChavez, bartender Ronnie Sanchez and Army Veteran Daniel Ramirez were all shotand killed after witnesses say a fight broke out.

The men, all their 20s,leave behind friends, family, wives, girlfriends and children.

"All of this was justsenseless," said Garcia.  "None of itneeded to happen."

Community members whoattended Monday's vigil say they hope people walk away remembering the threemen lost and vowing to put an end to violence.
