TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

We're getting our first looks at the plans in the works for a new racetrack in Pima County.

The track will be more than three miles long with several twists, turns and long straightaways. It will host different types of racing, from NASCAR to IndyCar and motorcycles.

The contract for the track has already been evaluated by the legal department. The next step is to determine financials; It could cost as much as $65 million to build.

The track would be built near the fairgrounds.
