TUCSON, AZ (AP) -

Authorities say a woman is in custody in connection with a homicide case in Tucson.

Tucson police announced Thursday night that 39-year-old Michelle Marie Price was already in Pima County Jail for an unrelated offense.

They say Price now is facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of Linda Daley.

The 65-year-old Daley was found dead at her west-side Tucson home on Nov. 21.

Police say a neighbor checking on Daley found her lying in a pool of blood inside the house and she had obvious signs of trauma.

Two injured dogs were also found inside the home.

Police didn't release a possible motive for the homicide and it's unclear if Price has legal representation yet.
