AZ knitting group donates caps for cancer patients

GILBERT, AZ (CBS5) -
A Valley knitting group is helping to brighten the day for cancer patients.
Caps for the Cure Knitting Group turned over more than 220 caps they made to Humana, a leading health company, Tuesday.
The company will donate the caps for cancer patients to the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert.
The knitting group, made up of mostly senior women, meets every other Monday at the Humana Guidance Center from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. The knitting group is open to anyone and all knitting materials are provided by Humana.
Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center is located on the Banner Gateway campus.
