Chicago man extradited to CT on sexual assault charges

A Chicago man was extradited to Farmington on sexual assault charges.

David Waite, 54, of Chicago, was arrested on sexual assault and risk of injury charges and was brought back to Connecticut by Farmington police.

According to police, the arrest stems from complaints made by a juvenile that said they endured several years of abuse.

Waite was arraigned at Hartford Superior Court on Tuesday. His next court appearance will be on Nov. 19.

Waite is being held on $250,000 bond.
