Therapy dog stolen from vehicle at Milford mall

MILFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The Milford Police Department is looking for the person who stole a therapy dog from a vehicle parked at the Milford mall on Saturday.

The owner of the dog parked her vehicle in a parking garage on the north side of the Westfield Connecticut Post Shopping Mall around 6 p.m., and when she returned about an hour later, the dog was missing.

Delilah is described as a white Poodle with a pink spot on her nose, is 5 years old, 12 pounds and about a foot tall.

She was wearing a pink collar with rhinestones on it and is also used at local hospitals as a therapy dog.

Anyone with information on Delilah's whereabouts is asked to call police.
