The McDonald's Red-Blue Game will take place at 3 p.m. MST on Saturday, Oct. 12.
In addition to opening another exciting season of Arizona basketball, the 2013 McDonald's Red-Blue Game will also be a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Wildcats' 1994 Final Four team. Along with many members of the team who are expected to be in attendance, UA greats Damon Stoudamire and Joseph Blair will experience their first McDonald's Red-Blue Game as members of the Arizona coaching staff.
Members of the 1994 Final Four team will serve as judges of the day's slam dunk contest, as well as being recognized both prior to the game and at halftime.
"Our annual Red-Blue Game is a primary part of our ‘Player's Program,'" UA head coach Sean Miller said. "Through this weekend, we're able to embrace our great tradition, and this year, we welcome back the 1994 Final Four team on its 20th anniversary.
"We certainly love the fact that our 2013-14 team can compete against each other in a live setting in front of 14,500 people at McKale Center. This weekend has also become an incredible opportunity for recruits to see our beautiful city, campus and home-court atmosphere all at once."
The McDonald's Red-Blue Game has sold out in each of the last two seasons, with another sellout expected in 2013.
Advance ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for children (ages 3-17). Groups of 25 or more may purchase tickets for $4 apiece and those of 100 or more my purchase tickets for $2 each. All seats for the McDonald's Red-Blue Game are general admission.

The Wildcats return three starters and seven letterwinners from last season's squad that went 27-8, posting the program's 24th 20-win season in the last 26 years. UA made its 30th NCAA Tournament appearance and advanced to the Sweet 16 for the second time in three years.
