Lightning strikes the greater Cincinnati area on Wednesday

Posted: Updated:
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

* LIGHTNING IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM FOR LIGHTNING TO BE A POTENTIALLY DEADLY PROBLEM *

Thunderstorms have become isolated over the FOX19 viewing area and will end this evening.

Overnight the weather will be muggy and you may encounter a patch of fog around sunrise. Thunderstorms will re-fire tomorrow afternoon and we will see occasional activity into the pre-dawn hours of Friday.

Through the day Friday look for clearing and slightly lower humidity.

Saturday and Sunday will be dry with a warm up kicking the high temperature Sunday into the upper 80s.
