City of Phoenix says water supply in good condition

PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Don't expect any shortage in Phoenix's water supply in the coming years.
That's according to the Phoenix Water Services Department, which wants to assure customers that there won't be an impact in supply.
It's in response to reports that Colorado River water releases from Lake Pleasant may be reduced next year due to drought conditions.
"Even if poor snow pack persists for the next two years and an actual shortage is declared on the Colorado River in 2016, Phoenix would be able to take all of the Central Arizona Project water it needs," the Phoenix Water Services Department said in a statement Friday.
