Kids with cancer boarded buses at Phoenix Children's Hospital Sunday bound for a week of fun at Camp Rainbow in Prescott.
The experience is billed as "a unique opportunity for kids with cancer to build relationships and have fun in a positive and supportive atmosphere."
This is the 29th year the camp has welcomed these special patients. Camp Rainbow is open to any child who wants to attend who is or was a patient in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
The kids will play games, ride horses and go swimming, canoeing and rock climbing. They'll share their adventures with friends who are going through the same challenges they face.
