Authorities have identified a man who died after jumping from a cliff into a pool at Tanque Verde Falls near Tucson.
The Pima County Sheriff's Office says the death of 29-year-old Richard M. Baker is being called a drowning.
Witnesses reported seeing Baker hit his head while jumping off a cliff into the water Sunday.
Bystanders pulled the man from the water after he didn't immediately surface. However, he was unconscious and not breathing.
The bystanders immediately started life-saving techniques until deputies arrived a few minutes later.
Sheriff's officials say Baker was pronounced dead after paramedics arrived.
