An attorney who advised Arizona's public campaign finance agency while working as an assistant state attorney general will be its next director.
The Arizona Capitol Times reports that the Citizens Clean Elections Commission appointed Tom Collins to replace Todd Lang as executive director.
The commission administers Arizona's voter-created system for providing funding for participating state election candidates.
Lang left in May to join the U.S. Attorney's Office for Arizona after seven years as the commission's executive director.
