A crashed tractor-trailer has forced the closure of State Route 87 about 30 miles south of Winslow on Thursday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The semi had been blocking the entire highway, an ADOT spokesman said, but one lane had reopened by 8:30 a.m. Traffic was alternating between directions, the spokesman said.
The spokesman said drivers should continue to expect delays, and plan accordingly. There was no estimated time as to when the highway would reopen, the spokesman said.
